Salary is absolutely wrong! Note that the subject "skilled workers" is plural, so it's should be "salaries".

Wages usually refer to the money a manual-workers(体力劳动者） receive on a weekly or hourly basis.so A is the right answer. In this sence, "income" is not proper enough, cos "income" is just the general word for money we receive from our work.

I can get high, but as to money, I don't think it can.
